My story

Come meet me at our pop-up adoption event on Saturday 7/19 from 11am-2pm, at Petco 9670 S Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60805. Applicants that want to meet/adopt me at the event will be prioritized!  Meet Au Gratin (aka Auggie)! Auggie might be named after a comfort food, but this girl is anything but cheesy. Well, unless you count her melt-in-your-lap cuddles, in which case she's extra gooey in the best possible way. Raised with her mom and siblings (Bagel, Olive Garden Breadstick, Hot Dog Bun, Toast, and King's Hawaiian Dinner Roll), Auggie is a well-socialized little lovebug who thrives on companionship. She will need to be adopted into a home with another young, playful cat to keep her company. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings! Auggie would do well in any home environment where she can get plenty of love, and she would do well with gentle older kids who understand the value of quiet snuggles and soft belly rubs. This sweet little kitty is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. One minute she’s batting around a crinkle toy with her siblings, and the next she’s tucked into your arms like she’s been there her whole life. Auggie is gentle, affectionate, and has a quiet confidence that makes her feel like the cozy heart of the home. Auggie’s superpower is absolute coziness. She has a sixth sense for the softest, sunniest spots in the house and will purr contentedly the moment she finds them or you. Whether she’s curled up on a warm blanket or tucked under your chin like a little living neck pillow, Auggie knows how to bring comfort wherever she goes. If she had a job, she’d be a professional nap consultant, cuddle enthusiast, or perhaps a heated lap pad stand in.
