Ideal Home: Lots of Attention and Food Network re-runsQualities: Affectionate, Snuggly, Aspires to be on Beat Bobby Flay 🍽Named Romeo for a reason, this charming boy doesn’t just love love—he lives for it. Whether it’s curling up beside you for a long nap, gently nudging your hand for pets, or following you from room to room like your most loyal admirer, 2.5 year old Romeo Romaine is all heart.  He’s the kind of cat who wants to be wherever you are, soaking up all the love he can get—and giving just as much in return. This couch potato watching food network and learning new recipes for his human to try! Romeo simply loves to be your center of attention and wants nothing more than to plan mealtimes together for all the years to come. He enjoys brushing, being pet, and snoozing in the sun beams on a warm afternoon. Unsurprisingly, when its playtime his favorite toy is a catnip banana. Whether he is flopping over for a belly rub or checking out the latest food puzzle, Romeo is a happy boy ready for his next adventure. He thrives on affection and companionship, so a household where someone is often around—whether working from home or just looking for a loyal shadow—is ideal. He’s the kind of cat who doesn’t just want to be part of the family… he wants to be your favorite member. With his bags packed and ready to come home, this FIV+ boy is positively fabulous and can't wait to meet you soon!Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a cat-specific virus that cannot be passed onto dogs or humans. FIV is spread through deep bite wounds, typically seen on outdoor male cats who have not been neutered. It's rarely spread through grooming, sharing bowls, or litter boxes. FIV affects a cat's immune system, but most cats live long lives when they live indoors, receive routine veterinary care, have a stress-free home, and a good diet. To learn more about FIV, please visit the link below. https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/______________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Romeo Romaine, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
