First of his siblings to conquer the enchanted art of “sit,” this wizard-in-training now commands a growing list of spells: Sitius, Stayiarmus, Laydownia, Touchicus, Pawtrificus Totalus, and Spinorama! All learned faster than you can say “Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans.”His name suits him—like the ancient titan who held the heavens, this pup carries the courage of ten dogs. A natural-born explorer, Atlas bounds toward new adventures with the same boldness Harry showed flying a broomstick for the first time. Rolling toys? Consider them his golden snitch. Playtime growls? Think baby Simba meets miniature werewolf. He has energy to spare, and a fenced yard would be as welcome as a Quidditch pitch at Hogwarts.Now for his origin story—the stuff of legend. Born to a stray mum who tried to care for her babies while being too underweight herself, Atlas carries a few scars from those early battles. But here’s the twist: those scars are his superpower. Just like a lightning bolt on a certain forehead, they mark him as a survivor, a chosen one, and a reminder that even the tiniest among us can rise as heroes.Potty training? Practically mastered—he’s 99% there (yes, even without the help of a self-cleaning chamber pot). Crate trained and quickly learning what’s chewable and what belongs to the Ministry of Forbidden Nibbles.Atlas is exceptionally dog-friendly—always the first to greet new four-legged classmates with tail wags and cheerful barks. He’d love a fellow canine companion in his forever common room, though it’s not a requirement. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
