My story

This loving mama wandered up to a house in Mississippi as a pregnant stray and just three weeks into foster care, she’s already showing what a loyal, gentle, and incredibly special girl she is. Pickleball is the definition of a velcro dog -- she follows her people everywhere and just wants to be close. She’s calm, cuddly, and totally trustworthy around the house, even when her foster family isn’t home. She knows sit and paw, and has the kind of manners that make her a dream companion. Pickleball is the perfect size (around 40 lbs) and a great age (estimated to be 3 years). She gets along great with her foster siblings (two dogs and four cats!), and while she can be a little shy meeting new people, once she knows you, she wants to be your best friend for life. Pickleball loves neighborhood walks and is a breeze on leash. She enjoys sunbathing on the deck and is always happiest when she’s with her people. Her ideal forever home would have a backyard where she can sniff around and lounge in the sunshine -- and a family that will give her the love and comfort she’s waited so long for. After raising nine puppies with care and patience, Pickleball is ready for her turn to be spoiled. If you're looking for a loyal, low-key lovebug, she's your girl.
