River

My story

River is a resilient, affectionate boy who’s been through far too much—abandoned, forgotten, and failed by the very people who were supposed to care for him. Despite it all, River has the most forgiving heart. He’s ready to leave the past behind and find a forever home that will finally treat him like family. River would thrive in a loving home with structure, kindness, and a little room to play! He’s great with dogs of all sizes, walks well on leash (just startles at loud noises), and loves to play fetch. He's neutered, takes treats gently, and is a total cuddlebug—he’ll gladly wrap his front paws around you for a hug. River is the kind of dog who will repay your love tenfold. He’s ready to start his new chapter—and all he needs is someone willing to turn the page with him.
