My story

Introducing Casper—not a ghost, but definitely a friendly one! This young Domestic Short Hair is a little shy at first, preferring to observe the world from the shadows until he knows he’s safe. But once you earn his trust, Casper turns into a total sweetheart, full of gentle head bumps and quiet purrs. He came to us when his owner was deported, along with his buddy Bella, and he’s still adjusting to all the changes. The shelter can be overwhelming, but behind those wide eyes is a cat just waiting for the right person to say, “Boo! I choose you!” If you’ve got a calm home and a little patience, Casper’s ready to go from mysterious to marvelous in no time.
