Zee

My story

Zee is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet her during open hours! Scroll through her pictures to see her cute video content! It is hard to see from her pictures but Zee is a pretty little thang weighing in at just over 30 lbs full grown. We estimate her age to be between 3-4 years old, which is a perfect age for a dog if you ask us! Past the puppy nonsense, but still active enough to enjoy the outdoors with you on your terms, or relax with you. Zee is that great age where she will take her cues from her person. Zee just so badly wants to have a person again. We rescued Zee from Chicago Animal Care and Control, where she was brought after being found as a stray. We are not sure of the details of her past, but we do believe that she was someone's pet. Zee is very well behaved, sweet, and sociable. We even had the chance to show her to a family with young kids, and she was so great with them! She loves kids. Zee was adopted from us by a nice man who sadly returned her to us after two weeks due to his own unexpected health issues. We know from him that she is a wonderful companion who is great with all dogs, kids, and strangers. We are so happy to have her with us. Zee is a total joy. We cannot get enough of her "happy zoomies," as seen in her videos! She is a great dog in the cutest little package, and anyone would be lucky to call Zee their own. We hope you will come and meet her this week! Zee’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
