My story

Meet Maury!Maury is a one and a half year old female Terrier mix, who has been spayed and is current with all her vaccines. She is the sweetest little girl once she learns to trust you. Initially, she is very scared and standoffish. Maury needs a female only household, as she does not like men. She loves playing with and snuggling with other dogs, so her adoptive home needs to have another dog.. She has not had any experience at her foster`s with cats. She also needs to be in a home with no small children.Maury’s favorite things are spending time outdoors in the backyard, going on walks, playing with her big foster dog brother, playing with her toys, and belly rubs! Maury is smart and trainable! She has already learned the commands sit, down, shake and other (shake other foot), but she will only do them for treats at this time. She knows how to use pee pads indoors, but is struggling to transition to going outside only. She sleeps well in a crate all night. It took several days for her to start trusting her foster mom, but when she did she captured her foster mom`s heart.Maury needs a special female adopter who has the patience to allow Maury to adjust to her new adoptive home and earn Maury`s trust.
