Pepper

My story

Pepper is a shy guy that just loves to snuggle.  He’s not going to be the life of the party, as he prefers to hide under the bed during social gatherings, but he will be there waiting for you when all is calm and quiet. He is looking for a mellow home with plenty of treats and cuddles. He was feral up until recently and has already come out of his shell so much. Pepper loves the idea of being an indoor house pet but needs just a little more time adjusting to it!  Pepper enjoys lounging on the couch and sitting in the sun. He loves treats and playing with toys. He is great with people when all is calm but is still scared of loud noises and fast movements so someone with the patience and understanding that he needs a little extra TLC is a must. He has been spending his newfound indoor-cat life with small children and a large dog. Both of which are scary for Pepper but slowly he’s growing more and more brave.  Despite his name being Pepper, he isn’t a spicy cat, just a scaredy cat. He has a very sweet demeanor and wouldn’t hurt a fly. (Well actually he’s very good at hurting flies…but other than that he’s as endearing as can be)  He would do really well in a home with another cat (or one of his siblings-Puffin in particular!!) to help him feel confident. With some more time and love, he will truly be such an amazing companion for just about anyone!  Come meet Pepper to feel his incredibly soft fluffy fur & hear his little purr the second you pick him up.
