My story

🌸 Meet Aphrodite – or Aphy to her friends! 🌸 This sweet soul is truly the definition of love in a furry package. Aphy is incredibly affectionate—if you’re in need of a hug or a cuddle buddy, she’s your girl! She has a gentle heart and gets along beautifully with everyone—dogs, cats, and people alike. Her best friend Juneau is her morning playmate, and their friendship is pure joy to watch. Aphy is polite and patient with food and toys—even letting her puppies get treats before she takes one for herself. She knows "sit" and is working on "come," "stay," and "leave it." She’s eager to please and responds beautifully to positive guidance. This lovely girl has been through a lot, and while she’s making great progress, she does still have occasional accidents—typically just once a day, and only urination. It seems to be improving over time and may be related to her past. We believe with continued love and patience, she’ll continue to thrive. Aphrodite came to her foster home craving affection and closeness, and while she’s still a loyal shadow, she’s grown comfortable enough to rest beside her person rather than on top of them. Watching her blossom has been incredibly rewarding, and now she’s ready to bring that same joy to a forever family. Aphy is looking for someone who will see her heart, celebrate her gentle spirit, and continue the beautiful journey she’s on. Until then, her foster mom is more than happy to keep soaking up the love from this special girl. 💕
