My story

A volunteer writes:Winter's history is quite nebulous to me but there is one thing that is not:her incredible resilience and her amazingly good nature despite all the mysterious suffering she might have gone through. Winter, indeed sustained unknown trauma or traumas that broke her ribs and fractured her right femur. These injuries are in a healing stage but as no veterinary intervention happened before Winter's arrival at the care center, the bony fragments are not well aligned. She will need orthopedic follow up in a near future. Winter rushed to her door as she saw me coming toward her kennel. Slow down, girl. We do not want to add insult to injury! You will get your "share" of love. I bet she gets quite a number of "shares" from the veterinary team through the day as she is sooo sweet! Winter is really Ms Sunshine, purring, making biscuits and leaning into pets! Winter's life was likely not a bed of roses. She needs a home sweet home, a safe and permanent loving place that will make her forget her past and ensure a bright future. Please, consider Winter as your new forever best friend...She is a true gem! What my friends at ACC say about me:It could be with you! Click here to learn more about the adoption process!Winter was lying at the back of the den, relaxed and calm. She showed interest when approached and had a gentle energy and leaned in for cheek rubbing and enjoyed all petting. She got up and came forward for more petting and ate squeeze-up treats. She was calm when picked up and held, and remained so when set back down.Winter interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: Black Weight: 6.8 Age: 1yrs 0mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Winter, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
