Meet Kuromi!This gorgeous 3-year-old, 13-pound mini dachshund is all done raising litters and ready to enjoy the good life! With her sleek all-black coat and soulful eyes, Kuromi is a true beauty inside and out.She came to us after her previous owners moved somewhere that didn’t allow dogs. Understandably, she’s a bit timid at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet and gentle nature shines through. Kuromi thrives with the companionship of another dog and would do best in a home where she has a canine friend to help her feel secure.She’s house trained, good with people, and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. If you’re looking for a loyal little sweetheart who blossoms with love and friendship, Kuromi may be the perfect fit.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
