My story

Cookie is a one-year-old pug with a whole lot of personality and even more love to give! She’s a total people-pup who thrives on attention, kisses, and being the center of your world. Full of playful energy and charm, Cookie has won all of our hearts here at the shelter—but what she really needs is a forever home to call her own.As a pug, Cookie does come with a few special considerations. Her adorable smooshed face, while incredibly cute, can make it harder for her to breathe—especially in Arizona’s intense summer heat. She’ll need an adopter who understands that short-nosed breeds like her should stay cool, spend limited time outdoors in hot weather, and always have access to shade and water.If you already have a dog at home and think Cookie could be a great fit, we’d love to set up a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a perfect match for everyone.Cookie is ready to bring joy, laughter, and love into your life.
