My story

Meet Phoenix! Meet Phoenix, a gorgeous 6-year-old long-haired beauty who’s truly lived up to her name rising from rough beginnings into her best self. When she first arrived as a stray, her fur was badly matted, and she wasn’t too thrilled about her makeover. But once she got her fresh new haircut, it was like flipping a switch! Phoenix has blossomed into a total sweetheart who loves head scratches and attention. She’s also got a funny side. She might be a cat, but she channels her inner watchdog, keeping a close eye on the world outside and growling at passing cars (especially those sneaky delivery trucks). Phoenix is ready to leave her past behind and find a cozy home where she can keep watch in style and soak up all the love she deserves. Submit an adoption application at al-van.org/adopt.
