My story

This absolutely adorable, silly, fun, tender sweet girl is Buffy! This darling little youngster came from a home where her parents would let Buffy and her brother roam the streets in the town since they were babies. It raised her to be a social and confident girl, but unfortunately illustrated that her owners were not able to take proper care of her. Buffy ended up in the pound and thankfully a fabulous foster home stepped right up to give this girl all the care she needs until she finds her forever home! This girl is only about 12 months old, and she’s amazing! She currently weighs 54 lbs so is a great medium size. It’s possible for her to gain a few more pounds but she likely won’t get any larger than 60 at full maturity. Buffy has now been to the vets and had all of her medical work done! She is now current on vaccines, deworming, heartworm tested negative, she’s now microchipped and spayed! She is also current on flea, tick and heartworm preventative. She’s a happy, healthy, thriving girl who is now ready to begin her next chapter!!! In her foster home Buffy has been an absolute pleasure!! As you can imagine considering her age and breeds, this girl is an active little lady! Shes full of enthusiasm and absolutely loves to play with other dogs and will run around and have a fabulous time with them! She loves hiking and car rides, splashing around in the water (she would love to try swimming!). She enjoys toys, and really all things wonderful about a dogs life! She’s a social butterfly and has a fantastic outgoing temperament and is confident and loving. She’s doing great going potty outside and is super intelligent, ready to learn anything you’d like to teach her! She is currently fostered with a cat and is doing well with her also! She’s comfortable and excellent in the house and doing great on leash on her walks! She loves her leash walks as well as off leash woods hikes. She would most definitely love a home where she has a yard to run and play in, as well as just sprawl out and soak up the gorgeous weather. She has a loving, sweet disposition with all people she meets and she just can’t wait to find an active, fun, loving, wonderful home. She’s an excellent combination of intelligence, adventure, and love! She’s ready to be by your side for whatever lies ahead in life, and ready to end every day with as many snuggles as she can get. If this darling, wonderful girl has stolen your heart and you’d like to make her dreams of a loving home come true, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Brilliant Buffy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
