My story

Hello, my name is Clover! I am a sweet girl with an intelligent and playful personality. I am about 5 months old and I way 26 pounds right now, but I am sure to get bigger. I am very attentive and love nothing more than to receive your praise and affection. I am a smart puppy and am always paying attention to what is going on around me, and I love to learn new things. My breed is known for having the most adorable big ears, and I am no exception! My attentive ears are always perked up and ready to listen to you. I am a very confident puppy, but I do look for guidance and love to follow your lead. I am craving a forever home with someone who has experience with my breed, as I have a lot of energy and need someone who can provide me with the physical and mental interaction I require. I am a puppy, so I will require a patient and caring adopter who is willing to train me and give me the time and attention I need to grow into a well-behaved dog. I did come to the rescue acting starved and had some mild food bowl guarding but with a short amount of training, it seems to be resolved. I caught on immediately to “wait at bowl” and then being called out of the bowl. My new family will need to continue to work on this with me. If you think that you can give me the love and care I need, please come and meet me. I’m sure you’ll fall in love! I will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old.
