My story

Toto is a 9-pound Chihuahua maybe Pomeranian pup with a story that will break your heart—but a spirit that will lift it right back up. At just 3 to 4 years old, Toto has already lived through more than any little dog should. He was cruelly tossed from a moving vehicle and, though he suffered cracked ribs and a fractured pelvis, he’s now safe, healing, and learning what love really means. Despite his injuries, Toto is proving to be incredibly resilient. He’s been resting and recovering in a loving foster home, where his sweet nature is shining through more and more each day. He’s gentle, quiet, and forms strong bonds with his people—once he trusts you, he’ll melt into your arms like he’s always belonged there. Toto deserves a peaceful, patient home where he can continue to heal and be cherished for the precious little soul he is. His ideal home would be calm and nurturing, without a lot of chaos or big, bouncy dogs. He’s looking for someone who understands that healing—physically and emotionally—takes time, but that love can work miracles. If you're ready to open your heart to a dog who’s been through the worst and still has so much love to give, Toto will be the most loyal, grateful companion you could ask for.
