My story

And just like that, we have six adorable puppies, approximately 7-9 weeks old, and we are leaning towards 7 weeks for their age. Meet our three girls and three boys! These sweet and beautiful babies are currently in foster homes, and we are in the process of naming them and getting to know their personalities so we can share more details about each one. Let us introduce you to Trixie! She's wearing bright daisy flowered collar to help us identify her. After a car ride from the shelter and baths for all six puppies, Trixie headed to her foster home, where she has already settled in with two of our alumni dogs and two cats. Both Lucy and Bella adore her, and Trixie slept soundly on her first night in her crate, which is right next to theirs. They have already shown Trixie how to use the doggie door, and Bella has taken on the role of cuddler and groomer for this little princess. Trixie also got to try out the kiddie pool, which they love on hot days.  Trixie is discovering watching garbage trucks and chewing on yummy carrots for settling time to ease her achey teeth. All the pups think shoe laces are just divine to play with and share toys easily. They are agile, fearless and already have the shepherd stance.  All the pups potty promptly when taken outside frequently, leading us to believe that they were well taken care of and handled nicely in their original home. They also enjoy playing with toys, nibbling on human toes, and tugging on clothes for attention followed by frequent naps.  All of the puppies have received their first vaccines, been dewormed, and are healthy, chubby, and happy!
