My story

Location: In foster home ID: 17164 Birthday: 12/2/2019 Hi, my name is Buttons—and yes, it’s because of my big, round, button-like eyes! But I’m not just cute—I’m also sweet, affectionate, and a total attention-seeker in the best way. I absolutely love being petted, and if you’re busy typing on your computer, don’t be surprised if I gently stand up at your desk and politely demand some love. Once I feel comfortable with you, I’ll even roll over for belly rubs—one of my favorite things in the world! I’ve known what it’s like to be neglected, and I’m so grateful to be in a foster home now where I’m learning what it means to truly be cared for. My previous home didn’t give me the grooming I needed, and I arrived with painful mats that had to be shaved off. I was also only fed dry food, which led to some extra weight. But now I’m enjoying yummy wet food and slowly getting back to a healthier me. I’m looking for a calm, loving home—maybe with one other gentle kitty, and no small children, please. I haven’t met any dogs yet, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them. What I do know is that I adore attention and would love to be part of a home where I’m cherished and given the care I’ve always deserved. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with the biggest eyes and an even bigger heart, I hope you’ll consider giving me a second chance.
