My story

Ducky is a 10-month-old male terrier mix with a heart as big as his personality. Energetic, affectionate, and endlessly playful, Ducky is the kind of dog who brings life and laughter wherever he goes. He’s friendly and wiggly with new people, offering soft, sweet eye contact and a gentle, affectionate demeanor. Ducky is extremely playful and has a high energy level. He can be a bit jumpy, mouthy, and vocal when he`s excited, especially around toys and treats, but he’s responsive and willing to trade. He knows `sit` and is working on building more manners, especially on leash where he tends to pull a bit. He has interacted with other dogs but can get amped up and may need more structured introductions—he did not escalate during a previous incident with another dog, which shows his overall good nature. Ducky would thrive in an active home with kids aged 12 and up who can help him channel his enthusiasm into fun, structured play. With continued guidance and plenty of toys, Ducky is sure to make a fun, loving companion.
