My story

TJ and Spinelli are a bonded brother-sister pair, adopted together as kittens and now about 8 years old. They’ve been by my side through every major life chapter — from my early days as a new police officer to marriage, dogs, and the birth of our daughter. These two sweethearts have brought so much comfort and calm into my life, and it absolutely breaks my heart to part with them. But with a second baby on the way and their “safe room” soon becoming a nursery, I know they deserve a quieter home where they can thrive again. TJ is the ultimate cuddle-bug. He lives for snuggles — the kind of cat who will burrow under the covers and curl up next to you. He’s gentle, loving, and incredibly affectionate. Once you’ve earned his trust, he will be your loyal companion, always nearby when you need a little extra comfort. Spinelli is a laid-back queen who loves being adored. She’s happy to snooze the day away, especially if there’s a soft couch involved. As a kitten, she was playful and even played fetch, but after a minor nerve injury and some physical therapy, she fully embraced the couch potato life. She’s a bigger girl now — we lovingly call her “robust” — and she’ll be happiest in a stress-free environment where she can relax and soak up love. They’ve both adjusted well to dogs over the years, but they weren’t fans of a foster cat we once had, so we believe a home without other cats is best. They are incredibly bonded and must be adopted together.  $100 adopt fee for the pair.  Indoor only.  This loving pair lives in Molalla with their human family.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
