My story

Muddy buddies are a favorite no-bake dessert for kids AND those young at heart! With a few simple ingredients (Chex, peanut butter, chocolate chips and powdered sugar), you can whip up a sweet and satisfying treat in a matter of minutes! If you’re not a big fan of chocolate (weirdo), or you don’t have a sweet tooth (strange), we have our very own muddy buddy named Mudders who is full to the brim with puppy sweetness! Mudders got his name when he was found at someone’s workplace, you guessed it… covered in mud! This kind person cared for him for a couple of months before bringing him to the shelter and had SO MANY great things to share! They learned that Mudders was good with small and large dogs, uses a doggy door, and is an affectionate, independent and playful pup who likes car rides. They described him as a goofy character! Mudders has also stolen the hearts of shelter volunteers, with one sharing: “Mudders is such a sweet playful boy! He is thrilled when his volunteer friends come to his kennel to take him out! He`s an affectionate, playful, friendly guy. He has a tickle spot right above his tail and he`ll arch his whole back when you scratch it juuuust right. If you let him, he will jump up into your lap for snuggles and kisses! He`s such a well-rounded boy! He`s fairly independent, but also quite sweet!”Mudders shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
