My story

Gotti is a 5-year-old certified house hippo with a sweet, squishy face and an even sweeter heart. Gotti is one of the 40 brave dogs rescued from the Central Texas flood. He’s recovering from a skin infection and just needs a loving foster to help with his spa routine—three baths a week, some meds, and lots of snuggles!Reason for Foster: skin infection and medicated bathsFoster Time Frame: 2 weeks(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: He is on 2 oral medications (loved treats) and he needs medicated baths 3 times a week. We will provide a medical consultation at your pickup appointment and the Foster team will supply all necessary items for a successful foster journey. Foster to Adopt: Gotti is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
