My story

From the foster: 481 My name in my foster home is Sheldon Pooper. There’s a funny story that my foster mama is happy to share with you on my adoption day. He is being given a report card to let you know how he is doing in learning his manners and boundaries. Appetite: 10/10 He has a healthy appetite and eats without any issues. He needs a slow bowl to make sure he does not inhale his food whole. He was eating his food SO fast that he was regurgitating it. It was entire kibbles and it was clear he was trying to eat fast. Some things tried include the slow bowl as well as soaking his kibble so it is easier to swallow. He has responded to both. Crate: 5/10 I am a teacher home for the summer so he doesn’t spend much time in the crate. He doesn’t like it, but will settle down when put in it. Potty Training: 7/10 He wears a male urine band inside the home. He has had a few wet diapers, but not too many. He has had one poop accident during his stay (middle of the night on his first day here). He uses the bathroom outside when he is taken out. Playfulness: 10/10 He loves to play with his foster puppies. He runs around the house as well as the backyard. He loves to play with his chew toys with his foster brothers. He is not aggressive with his toys at all. He shares all toys, so if you have a dog that doesn’t like to share, you will want to monitor these interactions. Snuggles: 10/10 he is learning how to snuggle more. At first, he was reserved and wanted to just be by himself on the floor. As he has gotten more comfortable, he will fall right asleep on you. He has the cutest puppy dreams and will bark or snore in his sleep. He’s adorable! Overall Score: 100% good boy! He is coming out of his shell more and more each day. He is a very easy tempered pup.
