My story
Meet Scout! Scout is a quiet, wide-eyed soul who’s just beginning to learn what kindness feels like. Having grown up with little to no human interaction, he’s understandably unsure of the world—but behind those cautious eyes is a dog who wants to trust, he’s just never been shown how. Scout needs a home that understands progress will come in tiny, beautiful steps and is willing to walk that path with him, no matter how long it takes. With patience, gentle guidance, and a lot of love, Scout has the potential to transform into a loyal, loving companion. For someone with a compassionate heart and a calm hand, Scout could be the most rewarding journey. Scout is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. You can meet him at the CASPCA between the hours of 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary. If you have any additional questions, please email adoptions@caspca.org.
