My story

Meet Yahtzee Yahtzee is about 4 years old, weighs 14 pounds and is a happy, playful pup! He is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. He was rescued near the border of Mexico. Video 4:09 shows the condition he was in when he was rescued. He was living on the streets and was starving. We fattened him up :) and his coat is coming in nicely now. We are so happy he is safe with us. We can see Yahtzee doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He is curious and enjoys being held. He has a fun personality and is very smart. He enjoys playing with toys and other dogs here at the rescue. He is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of own! Yahtzee is located at our rescue in Hondo, TX. He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs.
