My story

Meet LadyThis gorgeous 1-year-old terrier mix with stunning blue eyes and a heart of gold is looking for her forever family. Lady weighs about 43 pounds and is a joyful, silly, resilient tripod pup who’s overcome so much and is now thriving.Lady was rescued after 10 harrowing days on the run, frightened and injured, evading capture in a ravine and construction site. Her rescue became a true community effort—complete with a tranquilizer dart and thermal drone. Since then, she’s healed in a loving foster home and transformed into a playful, curious, cuddly companion.She loves other dogs, adores enrichment toys and puzzles, and bonds deeply with people. Her past trauma means she still has occasional moments of fear, so she needs a home that’s gentle, patient, and full of understanding. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
