My story

Gizmo’s a 13yo 20lb Cockapoo. He’s dog friendly with warm up time and slow introductions. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule. He is good with a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. He loves being with his people. He is cuddly and seeks attention/affection when he wants it. He likes to be on the couch with his people and will let you know when he wants pets and belly rubs. Gizmo’s foster requires an adult only home with patient, calm dog savvy people who will help with trust, give leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Gizmo as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home to decompress with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Gizmo’s on medication for his heart murmur, arthritis along with Fluoxetine to help keep him at ease his old man mood. He’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped.
