My story

MEET BUNNY BUNS!Bunny Buns would like us to tell you that she`s a kitten, not a bunny! She was born outside and spent some time in one of our fantastic foster homes. Her foster mom noticed she`s a little unsteady on her feet, and our vets diagnosed her with Cerebellar Hyperplasia (CH). This means the cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for coordination and balance, is underdeveloped. CH results in a variety of movement and balance issues, often described as `wobbly cat syndrome`. CH isn`t painful, doesn`t worsen over time, and doesn`t affect a cat`s lifespan. You`ll need to keep Bunny Buns indoors and take a few other steps to accomodate her, like using spill proof dishes. She also has a sensitive stomach, so it will be important for her adopters to follow up with their primary care vet after adoption. Once she`s settled in, Bunny Buns is ready to become your best feline friend forever! Bunny Buns is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
