Rena (Serena)

My story

Serena has a ton of personality and might like people more than cats, though she’s plenty social with both. Serena is probably our most unique cat, seemingly lacking many of the natural instincts that most cats are blessed with. While her buddies all weaned off bottle feeding at 4-5 weeks of age, Serena insisted on being fed like a baby until she was about 10 weeks old. Her default feeding stance was standing straight up on her hind legs, a position she has adapted for using the litterbox. She’s explored our house more than her foster buddies, given her quick first step and clean leaps over the door gate when we come in for feeding. We can easily get her out of trouble though – just sit down nearby and she’ll be happy to come climb all over you before settling on cuddling in your lap or on your shoulder. If you’re a pet owner who likes telling hilarious stories about your pet, Serena is the girl for you. Pair her with a calming presence like Willie or Eric for best results.
