My story

My name is Serena. Once, I was among the forgotten—kept in a shelter, waiting, unseen. By grace, I was chosen, and now I live in warmth and light, far from the cold bars and echoing cries. I am of the tuxedo kind—petite, refined—with a mark of black upon my nose, as if painted there with purpose. I adapt swiftly to new homes, for I have learned the art of survival, of softening hearts. I dwell in harmony with the adult males of this household, and I dance in play with the youngest of them—swift-footed, joyful. The feather wand, the trailing string—such simple joys I embrace with reverence. My litter box manners, like my soul, are spotless. When I am not at play, I rest in stillness, curled in warmth, or nestled beside the kind hands of my foster mother or father. I have not known a dog, but I am willing to meet one with patience and grace. What I seek is not grandeur, but sanctuary—a forever home, where I might be loved, not just fed; cherished, not merely kept. I will give you my purrs, my loyalty, and my quiet, enduring presence, for all the days appointed to me. Blessed be the adopters. May you find me. May love find us both.
