My story

Location: Hudson, SD Hi, I am Snape! I am a very handsome, very intelligent dog and am learning quickly! I love to follow commands for treats. I am learning new words like come, sit, lay down, and kennel. I have made tremendous progress on house training in just a few short days. I tolerate my kennel but would rather not be in it. My foster mom says I have to be in it at night and when I’m home alone. I am working on earning her trust, I know I can do it! I am much happier sleeping in my kennel if it is in your bedroom with you at night, I feel safer that way. Sometimes when I am lonely I whine or make little howling noises, an apartment isn’t for me. I have tons of energy and would love lots of walks and play time. A fenced in yard would be great, but if you give me lots of walks every day l will be fine without it. Chewing on good dog toys helps me with my anxiety and energy but I know better than to chew your shoes! I will chew up a blanket if you put one in my kennel (because it’s really a toy!) If you choose me I will become a great member of your family, but I will need some time to feel safe and secure. I am good with older kids. I am untested with very small children, cats and other dogs. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
