Meet Michael: A Gentle Giant With a Heart of Gold! Michael's arrival at a Poughkeepsie cat colony was quite the suprise for Stray HELP volunteers - and his dramatic entrance suggested a feisty spirit! But don't let that fool you. Beneath that initial bravado lies one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet. Michael is a true gentle giant. He adores getting pets and loves to "chat" with his foster mom, holding the most wonderful conversations. He's also a laid-back guy when it comes to other cats and gets along famously with all sorts of people. Could this charming conversationalist be the purr-fect addition to your home? We estimate his birthday to be June 17, 2021. Michael was rescued from the City of Poughkeepsie, NY. He appeared at a managed cat colony. Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm - Michael is FIV positive. They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination.  An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP.
