My story

🐈 SPECIAL KITTY ALERT 🐈 Everdeen is READY to go home TODAY Catnip Everdeen came to us a stray that was found. She was acting a little “off” when we picked her up soaking wet, so we rushed her to Catoosa Small Animal Hospital. After a night at the vet, lab work, and tests the vet has diagnosed her as blind. Even though she’s totally blind that doesn’t stop her from being one of the most loving cats we have. She’s a little quirky, but she’s totally worth it. We have to put her food/water directly in front of her for breakfast, so she can find it. She sometimes misses the litterbox, but if it’s left in the same spot, she’ll be able to find it. Everdeen is great with other cats and does not pay them any attention. While she is a long hair cat, we had her groomed. The first few days we had her she would fall into her water and get food stuck in her fur. When she was getting groomed, Everdeen was a sweet angel baby who started licking my hand as if to say “thanks”. She did not act out in any way while being groomed. Catnip Everdeen needs an understanding home who will not return her for occasional accidents outside of the litter box and won’t mind catering to this baby. Everdeen has been FIV and FeLv tested which are both negative. She has been spayed, and had her first round of shots.
