My story

Meet Oreo – a 2-year-old blocky-headed sweetheart with a stocky bully build and a heart full of charm. This friendly boy found himself in “doggy jail” through no fault of his own—he’s a prisoner pet, meaning his owner is currently incarcerated. But despite life’s curveballs, Oreo is as social and upbeat as they come.He’s dog friendly—his pal Twix was his yard buddy until Twix came down with a cold. Oreo is easy to leash and walk, though he does pull a bit in his excitement to explore. His kennel was clean, and he had business to take care of, suggesting he may be house-trained.Oreo doesn’t seem to know “sit” yet, but he takes treats nicely and was thrilled to make a new friend. He’s a fun, outgoing companion who’d love a home that gives him structure, snuggles, and someone to laugh with at his goofy charm. He really was a joy to hang out with.
