Best Match : Seeking an adopter with some experience Could join a calm home with older kids Needs to be the only cat Needs to be indoor only Takes daily medication for anxiety Koala (the cat) is adorable and cuddly. “ She’ll meow, meow, meow and slow blink into your heart, then curl up right in it ,” according to her foster. She also likes to cuddle and be the little spoon next to you on the couch watching tv. Really, do you need to know more? Despite being a senior, this girl jumps, pounces, catches, and paws at her favorite cat dancer toy with high energy. She also plays on her own with the cat ball race track and can often be heard having a good time late at night. Batting around circular toys is a favorite pastime and she goes wild for catnip. Koala is irresistible in so many ways! If she wants you to hang out — even in another room — she’ll make eye contact and softly meow as an invitation. She might even flop down mid-path for an impromptu belly rub. One of her most endearing quirks is biscuit-making, purring and drooling as she kneads like she’s baking the best pastry ever. This sweet girl is initially shy when meeting new people, but she warms up with churu and patience. If she hears a sudden noise outside she may hide for a minute, but then comes back out asking for pets and love. Care is easy for this senior. She eats only wet food (and treats!) and gets gabapentin added to her meal twice daily for anxiety. Koala does need to be the only cat in the home. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you’re looking for a cat that’s sweet, affectionate, fun, cuddly, adorable, playful — we could go on and on, Koala is your girl! She’d like you to be loving, playful and cuddly, too.
