Meet Owen! Breed 🐶: Australian Shepherd Gender 🙋‍♂️: Male (Neutered) Age 🎂: 7 years Old Weight ⚖️: 65 pounds Good with✅: Dogs 🐶, cats 🐱, possibly children 👧🏼🧒🏼(has not been tested but we suspect he would do great!) Kennel 🚨and potty trained 🚽 This sweet, love able, playful boy is looking for his fur ever home! Could you be his? Owen came to the shelter severely matted so he’s currently rocking a lion cut 🦁 but don’t let that fool you, once his fur grows back he Will have a beautiful black tri colored Aussie coat! A little bit about Owen; for being 7 years old he still has a ton of that Aussie spunk in him and will need someone who can cater to his high energy needs and stimulate him the way an Australian shepherd needs, I mean they are herding dogs! Owen loves going for walks where he walks amazingly on a leash , playing in water, and he loves playing with toys and his two foster brothers who definitely keep his old man self on his toes with their puppy energy. Even though Owen still has a ton of energy, he also knows when to wind down and relax and take a long nap. That is until he becomes bored and trust me he is not afraid to vocalize his boredom! Owen is kennel trained and does amazing in a kennel however he is able to be left out during the day with no issues, as I have a camera on him during the day if we are gone and he typically stays in the same spot on the dog bed the whole day! Owen is also such a people lover, he immediately made himself at home and gave us all his love and kisses and like all Aussies all he wants is someone to show him all the love in return and the endless butt scratches. And like any big dog he likes to think he’s a lap dog sometimes 🤣 Seriously Owen is the sweetest, goofiest dog ever and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with him just as much as I already have 🥹 📍 being fostered in Tomah, WI 🏁My adoption fee is $450 and you can see more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org.
