My story

Koda is a beautiful, young, 17 lb long-legged chihuahua mix with a touch of meerkat – at least that’s what he looks like when he’s standing on his 2 hind legs! He gets along with other dogs, walks well on a leash, and enjoys car rides. Despite spending time as a stray, this handsome calm pup is affectionate and quick to trust. He’s very curious, loves to sniff and knows how to lay on the charm. He doesn’t bark much, but he likes to “talk” when he’s excited to go out. Koda will enthusiastically thump his tail if he catches you looking at him and doesn’t hesitate to show his belly for pets. So far, he hasn’t shown any interest in playing fetch but likes to pounce on a rope toy as it’s swung side to side by his paws. His foster is working with him on his housebreaking and adding another pound or two to his skinny frame. He hasn’t been around kids or cats but appears like he would be fine with both. Every day a bit more of his playful personality is revealed. Kodas $300 adoption fee includes a microchip, vaccinations, and neuter surgery.
