My story

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING!   Meet Star! Hi furiends!! I’m Star, a 1-year-old Carolina mix and the name fits me pawfectly—I'm truly a shining little light! I’m a playful, sweet, and snuggly girl who lives for cuddles, belly rubs, and being carried like a baby (yep, I love it!) I’m good with big and small doggies, and I absolutely love kids of all ages—the more the merrier! I'm crate trained, leash trained, and house trained (I don't chew up your stuff—promise!), and I know some cool tricks like sit, down, and stay! I’m also a total loyal love bug who just wants to be close to my humans and doggy friends. Buuuut I'm still working on a few things! I get so excited around food that I sometimes forget my manners and jump up or try to counter surf. I also whine a bit when you leave me in the crate (only for the first 45 minutes), but I do settle down eventually like a good girl. I’ll need a patient family to help me keep learning. My dream home? One with a fenced backyard so I can zoom around to my heart’s content, and a doggy sibling or two to play with! I’d be so happy in a home with kiddos too—they're the best cuddle buddies! I’d fit right into an apartment with a shared yard or a house with a yard, big or small! If you’re looking for a playful, loving, baby-carrying cuddlebug who will fill your life with joy and tail wags—I’m your girl. Adoption FEE: $500 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
