My story

Meet Peter Pan, an 8-year-old male hound mix with a soulful gaze and a quiet charm. He came to us as a stray and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed. While we don’t have information about how he does with other animals or children, and we’re unsure of his house or crate training history, Peter Pan has a gentle demeanor that suggests he’s just looking for a safe place to land. This seasoned pup is hoping to find a patient and caring home where he can settle in, feel secure, and finally enjoy the love and comfort he deserves. Peter pan is HEART WORM NEGATIVE, UP TO DATE on vaccinations, and weighs 40 pounds.Peter Pan's Adoption fee is a NO CHARGE FEE. He is also partially sponsored by PAWS IN LYON COUNTY.Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
