My story

7/29/25  Meet ATHENA! This voung gorgeous euro Doberman gal from MDAS is looking for her furever home. She is super friendly with everyone she meets, playful, likes other dogs and loves playing in the water. She's a big girl and will try and sit in your lap if you let her. She will likely need entropion surgery so a local foster / foster to adopt would be amazing for her as we figure out her medical needs. 7/10/25. Athena needs Entropion surgery in both eyes.  Entropion is a condition where the eyelid rolls inward, causing the eyelashes and fur to rub against the cornea.  This can lead to pain, excessive tearing, squinting, corneal ulcers, and even vision loss if left untreated.  Please consider donating to Athena's medical needs so she can have a comfortable life and save her vision.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral).
