Rowan

My story

Rowan is a smart, handsome, light-tan & green-eyed sweetheart. He is likely a border collie/yellow lab mix, plus other combinations. He's super sweet & cuddly, a tiny bit shy at first but he warms up easily! He's really mellow, chill & go-with-the-flow for a 14'ish week old puppy. He's been good with friendly cats & friendly children, and he loves other dogs. He's always giving kisses to his foster's dog! Everyone loved Rowan at his foster's work-office visit! He also did great with a coworker's dog. He would be a great companion for a slightly older dog. He's doing well on the leash but is still a bit timid. He's too small to go to dog parks yet. He'll likely do well but suggesting he start with one of the calmer dog parks.  Rowan is already taking to his training with his awesome foster family. He's crate trained, already learning some basic commands and getting pretty good at walking on a leash. If you're looking for a great pup or a pair, fill out an application. All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval. Adoption counselors are available onsite at PetSmart most Saturdays & Sundays, 12-4 p.m. to conduct meet and greets and onsite adoptions.
