My story

Edgar Allen is a sweet older hound mix with a heart full of love. This gentle guy may have experienced some tough times, but he hasn’t let that dim his spirit. He’s endlessly affectionate, always ready to share happy tail wags and a big smile that will light up your day. Edgar enjoys exploring the yard at his own pace and finds comfort in the company of other dogs. While he hasn’t been the playful type so far, he thrives with canine companions nearby and responds well to other dog he’s met. He’s more of a chill buddy than a rough-and-tumble pup—and we think that’s part of his charm. He continues to come out of his shell more each day and is beginning to show his goofy, lovable personality. He’s crate trained, easy-going, and happiest when he’s close to people who care. Whether it’s some quality snuggle time or booty scratches, Edgar is always up for love.
