I’m Beau. I was rescued from the city pound, and now I’m ready to leave my past behind and find my forever family. I’m excited to meet someone who will give me love, care, and a cozy home to call my own!   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) Healthy - No other known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Beau! True to my name, I’m a handsome and charming boy. I’m sweet, gentle, and get along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. Don’t let my bigger size fool you—I’m a total cuddle bug who loves affection. With my beauty and loving personality, I’m ready to steal your heart!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m super friendly with people! I’m a total goofball who loves giving and receiving affection. I enjoy rubbing my body against you and soaking up all the pets and love you have to give. You can easily pick me up, and I love to show my belly as a sign of trust. I haven’t met many kids yet, but with my gentle and easygoing nature, I’m sure I’ll do wonderfully with respectful, dog-savvy little humans. I don’t guard my food against people, making me an easygoing companion for any home!   With Dogs: I’m not just amazing with people—I’m great with dogs too! I love making new furry friends and enjoy playtime with pups of all sizes. I’m gentle and easygoing, and even when other dogs are a bit pushy, I stay calm and friendly. I don’t guard my food against other dogs, making me a sweet and sociable companion for any household! With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but with my sweet personality, I may get along well with the right introduction.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level—just enough to enjoy fun outdoor time to burn off my energy, and then I’m perfectly happy to curl up and snuggle indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m a good boy on walks and usually follow my handler’s lead, though I might get a little excited and pull when something catches my eye. I love my outdoor potty time and know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I’m a very quiet and easygoing guy indoors—I can be a total couch potato, napping and lounging without a care. But don’t be fooled! When I see tasty treats or it’s time for my walk, my energy lights up and I zoom around with pure joy, showing off my playful side!   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment where I can learn, explore, and grow into a well-behaved young adult. A family that enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time together. A family that can shower me with love and attention. Ideally a home with another dog sibling – but not an absolute requirement. A family that understands my breeds’ characteristics.   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff can’t stop complimenting how much I adore human companionship! I’m super gentle, sweet, and friendly, even with strangers. I just love people so much and can’t get enough of pets and affection.
