My story

Fostered in Salem, WI Meet Nutter Butter! Nutter Butter is a handsome black tri Aussie/German Shepherd mix, born on May 24, 2025. He has the most vibrant tan markings of all the black tris in his litter, paired with striking black fur and soft white accents. His warm, expressive eyes and bold coloring make him stand out—but it’s his sweet, affectionate nature that truly wins hearts. A mix of two smart and energetic breeds, Nutter Butter is playful, curious, and eager to learn. He’s also calm and loving, always happy to snuggle up after playtime. Though his first six weeks were spent living under a crawlspace, Nutter Butter has shown amazing resilience and a gentle spirit. He’s been friendly with other dogs, cats, and people, and he’s ready to continue learning about the world with the help of a patient, kind-hearted family. What Nutter Butter Needs: An active home: He’ll thrive with daily exercise, playtime, and mentally stimulating activities.  Consistency and patience: Like any puppy, he’s still learning how to be part of a home and needs gentle structure.  Positive reinforcement training: Nutter Butter is bright and eager to please, making him a great student for reward-based training.  Ongoing socialization: Exposure to a variety of people, places, and situations will help him grow into a confident adult.  Love and security: After a rough start, Nutter Butter is ready to be part of a family that offers safety, care, and affection.  If you're looking for a loving, loyal pup with a heart as sweet as his name, Nutter Butter may be the perfect addition to your home.
