My story

Scotch is the kind of dog who just gets it. He’s gentle, intuitive, and full of quiet love.At a recent meet and greet with kids, Scotch blew us away. He didn’t snatch toys or jump with excitement. He sat patiently, waiting for little hands to offer him a toy, and took it so delicately it felt like he knew how important the moment was. That’s just who he is—thoughtful, kind, and full of grace.Every time we open his kennel, Scotch leans his big body into our chest like he’s saying thank you. There’s a depth in his eyes that says he remembers what it felt like to be overlooked, and he’s just so grateful to be seen now. We’ve watched him grow from a goofy boy who didn’t know boundaries (hello, humping phase!) to a polite, responsive companion who gives a quick hug and walks beside you like he knows where he’s supposed to go.He’s smart—he knows sit, shake, and how to read a room. The other day he was nervous about the pool… until our kennel tech got in. Then he climbed in, too. Scotch is that dog. The one who trusts you when you’ve earned it. The one who chooses you right back.Scotch is ready for his person. His family. His home. Whoever gets him won’t just be adopting a dog—they’ll be gaining a friend for life.
