My story

This handsome boy is Kobe! He was surrendered to the shelter on 5/20 along with his sister/bestie, Willow, because their owner could no longer care for them. They were very emaciated and in sad shape upon arrival with overgrown nails and wounds on their ears. Both dogs were very timid and scared, but with reassurance and love from volunteers and shelter staff they're learning to trust again. Both dogs are now back to a healthy weight and ready for loving, forever homes! Kobe is approximately 2 years old, and he weighs 60 lbs. Kobe is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Kobe is waiting to meet you in run 413; his ID # is 10150. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
