My story

This beautiful girl is Willow! She was surrendered to the shelter on 5/20 along with her brother/bestie, Kobe, because their owner could no longer care for them. They were very emaciated and in sad shape upon arrival with overgrown nails and wounds on their ears. Both dogs were very timid and scared, but with reassurance and love from volunteers and shelter staff they're learning to trust again. Both dogs are now back to a healthy weight and ready for loving, forever homes! Willow is approximately 1 year old, and she weighs 56 lbs. Willow is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Willow is waiting to meet you in run 410; her ID # is 10151. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
