My story

`I`m not fat, I`m fluffy!` In all honestly, she`s a bit of both - in the best way. Willow was obviously well-loved in her last home. At 6 years old, she is past the high energy puppy phase and loves a leisurely walk and looks forward to time to chill with her new besties. Willow was sadly surrendered due to her family’s loss of housing. Despite this tough change, Willow`s heart remains full of love, and she’s ready to share it with a new forever family. Willow`s soft demeanor and easy-going nature has placed her high on the favorites list here at the shelter. Willow is one of those dogs who has nailed the home life routine and is patiently awaiting her opportunity to be loved and cared for again, just like her previous owner did for so long. Despite the confusing changes and transition, Willow`s hope for a new home has not faltered. Could you be the miracle she has been wishing for?Faith and Willow came into the shelter together and have lived in a home together. They are able to go home together, are you brave and spunky enough to consider taking home this dynamic duo?Willow was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, `Willow was an absolute gem during our Dog`s Day Out! We strolled around English Landing, where she walked calmly and took in all the sights and smells with quiet curiosity. We walked a bit, then sat in the grass with her as she continued to watch her surroundings calmly. After a little more walking, we took Willow for a pup cup. We took her to our backyard, where she took the pup cup very gently. Willow showed how content she is simply being near people, and while she doesn`t demand affection, she always loved receiving it.`On another day out, `Willow is the sweetest, chonky lady! She hopped right into the car for her Dog Day Out, rode like a pro, and even enjoyed a well-deserved pup cup (diet cheat day approved). She was so gentle and well-mannered visiting a 90-year-old with a walker and showed off how smart she is—she listens right away when given direction. Willow is calm, cuddly, and such a polite little lady… she’s going to make someone the perfect best friend!`Willow is spayed, microchipped, current n vaccines and `move in ready!`Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible.
