Athena

My story

Say hello to Athena!! She was found dumped with her brother near a busy interstate. While her brother is a healthy weight, Athena is emaciated. Every bone in her body is visible and any cold breeze makes her shiver. At a wee 5 1/2 pounds, she doesn't let that stop her! She has a fighting spirit and has all the spunk and feisty-ness to prove it. While her breed is unknown, she has the color and pattern of a fawn Doberman/Pinscher. Athena will happily curl up in your lap (under a blanket, of course) after a romp with her brother and any other dogs that may be around. And don't forget her nylabone! That is her favorite toy. Athena is independent, curious, and won't hesitate to let you know if she wants something. She will make a wonderful addition to any home! Please note that she is available for adoption but cannot go home until she is a healthy weight.
